She owns Malkia Investments LTD that provides a range of liquid detergents branded as "BUBBLY". In line with the company's vision and mission statements, she provides the most effective and efficient cleaning products ever glimpsed in Tanzania. We supply Bubbly Cleaning Products to all retail stores, supermarkets, hospitals, hotels, schools and cleaning companies. Also she spends are time mentoring Youth from slums areas such as; Tandale, Manzese in better ways of improving their living. She empowers them with knowledge but also with life skills, she has been working on this for almost a period of 4 years now. She always enjoy working with diverse set of backgrounds as she respects diversity.
Maryam is a Tech-Journalist who works for Buni Innovation hub, a technology hub that encourages tech-entrepreneurship for early stage startups.She is an ICT enthusiast who has worked in the Technology field for about half a decade now and in the field has been playing different roles including organizing Technology events on monthly basis at the Hub and also participate in organizing hackathons on Energy, WASH and environmental issues.
Jumanne Mtambalike is an innovator and technology enthusiast, He is an Ideation (concepts development), Programme Development and Project Management Expert. Jumanne is also a technology blogger and community reformer. He likes to work with youths initiatives in areas of innovation, technology entrepreneurship and youths capacity building programmes.
Mujuni Baitani is a governance and technology professional. He attained his studies at St. Joseph University in Tanzania, with a Diploma of Information Technology (Information Systems and Networking Engineering) and Diploma in Operation Management at Alison, Ireland and presently he is pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management at Ardhi University. Mujuni has worked with both Political Party and NGOs such as CHADEMA- Chama Cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo as Zonal Communication Strategist Officer and COSAD- Community Solutions for Africa Development as Chief of Protocol. His primary areas of practice have been Innovation, Technology, Political Relations, Public Engagement, Social Media Marketing, TV and Radio Personality, Research, Projects and Communication Strategy. Currently, he is working for Tanzania Bora Initiative as the Project Officer- Civic Tech. He enjoys working closely to his community on programs that focus on building and promoting peaceful and democratic society which embraces and uphold principles of democracy, accountability transparency, human rights and equal participation in all forms.
Ms. Abella Bateyunga is an international development professional and social entrepreneur with more than 11 years of experience engaging young men and women though Governance, media, ICT and innovation and the arts. She is an established leader in the design and implementation of initiatives to engage and inspire youth, particularly young women, to participate proactively in their own governance and civic rights. As a media personality, she is renowned for her use of “edutainment” style that combines education and entertainment as a method to inspire Tanzanian youth to be active and engaged in their community’s social, economic, and political processes. Having worked at BBC Media Action, WaterAid , Twaweza/Hivos and Cloud Media Group before founding Tanzania Bora Initiatives www.tanzaniabora.org, Ms. Bateyunga manages several additional successful programs such as SHE Codes for Change www.shecodesforchange.org , which inspires girls and young women in Tanzania to pursue careers in STEAM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts/Design, Mathematics) fields; and Love Arts Tanzania www.loveartstanzania.com, an initiative that nature young artists gifts and talents aiming at raising the standard of art and positively influence culture and mindset . She is also recognized for her outstanding leadership by President Obama’s flagship program YALI (Young African Leaders Initiative), having served as a YALI Fellow in 2014. Ms. Bateyunga holds a BA in Law with honors from the University of Dar es Salaam.
